Role Overview 
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in East Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical and instrumentation installation activities on site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. This role will involve close collaboration with construction, commissioning, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation contractors on site.
• Coordinate daily construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and HSE requirements.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, and progress.
• Conduct toolbox talks and site safety briefings.
• Review permits, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
• Liaise with project management teams, commissioning engineers, and client representatives.
• Support punch list management and project close-out activities.

Requirements (Qualifications / Skills & Experience)

• Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor within industrial, energy, power generation, renewable energy, or BESS projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and instrumentation systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and energisation procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Fluent English is required.

Essential (optional)

• Previous supervisory experience on utility-scale energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and HSE compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting construction through commissioning and project handover phases.

Desirable (optional)

• Previous experience on utility-scale BESS projects.
• Experience working on substations, HV infrastructure, or renewable energy facilities.
• German language skills.
• Experience working on projects within Germany or wider European energy markets.
