About the Client:
Our client is currently delivering a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Germany and is seeking experienced commissioning support to help ensure successful delivery. They are focused on high-quality execution within tight project timelines and require specialists with recent, relevant experience.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced E&I Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning activities on a BESS project in East Germany. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical and instrumentation systems are commissioned efficiently, safely, and in line with project requirements.

This is a site-based role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute E&I commissioning activities on-site for BESS systems

· Perform testing, fault finding, and system verification

· Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards

· Collaborate with site teams, project management, and other disciplines

· Support documentation and reporting of commissioning progress

Candidate Requirements:

· Proven experience as an E&I Commissioning Engineer

· Recent BESS project experience within the last 3–5 years (essential)

· Fluent German language skills (required)

· Strong on-site commissioning and troubleshooting capability

· Ability to work full-time in a structured site environment

Contract Details

Location: On-site in East Germany

Duration: 6-month initial contract

Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
