DFT Engineer – Contract / Freelance

As DFT Engineer, you will take ownership of the Design-for-Test (DFT) strategy, architecture, implementation and test pattern generation across our digital designs.

You will work closely with digital design and physical design teams, providing hands-on expertise and actionable feedback to ensure our designs achieve high test coverage, robust testability and efficient silicon bring-up.

This is an opportunity for an experienced DFT specialist to make a direct impact within a fast-moving deep-tech semiconductor company.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the DFT flow — select, configure and establish the appropriate DFT tools, methodologies and flows.
• DFT architecture and implementation — drive DFT insertion, scan architecture and test strategy across digital blocks.
• ATPG and test coverage — develop and optimize ATPG strategies to achieve high fault coverage and efficient test pattern generation.
• JTAG / Boundary Scan — implement and support relevant JTAG and Boundary Scan architectures.
• Flow and methodology optimization — provide immediate, actionable feedback to digital design and physical design teams to improve synthesis, constraints and implementation flows.
• Test pattern generation and validation — generate, validate and fault-grade
