Role Overview:
We are supporting a leading manufacturing client in Ghent in their search for an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst with a strong focus on Finance within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
You will play a key role in analysing business requirements, optimising financial processes, and supporting the implementation and enhancement of finance-related functionalities, with a particular emphasis on e-invoicing and prepayments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams for D365 F&O finance processes
· Gather, analyse, and document functional requirements across finance operations
· Configure and optimise D365 F&O finance modules, with focus on:
- E-invoicing (compliance, formats, integrations)
- Prepayments (vendor/customer flows, reconciliation)
· Support end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and process improvements
· Collaborate with finance teams to ensure best practices and system alignment
· Participate in workshops, testing (UAT), and user training
· Work closely with developers and integration teams where required
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Functional Analyst / Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 F&O
· Strong expertise in finance modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
· Hands-on experience with:
- E-invoicing solutions within D365
- Prepayments processes and configurations
· Experience in manufacturing environments is a strong plus
· Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
· Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications
