Role Overview:
Our client is a large international organisation embarking on a significant digital transformation programme centred around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the Microsoft Power Platform.
To support the evolution of their customer-facing applications and business processes, they are looking for an experienced D365 CE Solution Architect who can provide architectural leadership, guide solution design decisions, and work closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
This is a highly visible role where you will influence the future application landscape and ensure scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned solutions are delivered.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture

• Define end-to-end solution architectures within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement ecosystem.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Drive architecture governance and best practices across projects and product teams.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives.
• Review and validate technical designs proposed by development teams and implementation partners.

D365 CE & Power Platform

• Lead the design and implementation of solutions across Dynamics 365 CE modules.
• Design solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Define and optimise business processes using Power Automate.
• Ensure effective use of Dataverse and Power Platform capabilities.
• Support application lifecycle management and release governance.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and requirements.
• Act as the primary architecture point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and solution design sessions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to functional consultants and developers.

Integration & Innovation

• Support integration strategies between D365 CE and other enterprise applications.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Contribute to future roadmap discussions and digital transformation initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

• Extensive experience designing and delivering solutions within D365 CE.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement architecture and capabilities.
• Experience across multiple CE modules such as:
  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Marketing
  • Field Service

Microsoft Power Platform

• Strong experience with:
  • Power Platform
  • Dataverse
  • Power Automate
• Experience designing low-code and enterprise-grade business solutions.

Architecture

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Technical Architect.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture.
• Experience defining integration, security, and governance models.
• Ability to bridge business and technical requirements.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Microsoft Azure

• Azure Integration Services
• API Management
• Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Cloud-native architecture experience

Microsoft Copilot

• Experience implementing or designing solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot technologies.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted business process automation.
• Experience with Copilot Studio is considered an advantage.
