Clipper Developer (Freelance)

Our customer in Brussels is looking for a Clipper Developer to support and maintain their existing Clipper applications. The assignment is part of a long-term application lifecycle programme where the current environment will be maintained before being migrated to a .NET / Azure platform.

The consultant will work with business stakeholders, analysts and development teams to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the migration roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing Clipper applications.
• Analyse incidents and implement fixes.
• Deliver enhancements based on business requirements.
• Work with Functional Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform impact analysis for requested changes.
• Support testing and deployment activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist with data migration and application migration activities.
• Work alongside the .NET development team during the transition period.
• Support knowledge transfer throughout the migration program.

Profile

• 3+ Experience developing applications in Clipper.
• English required. French or Dutch is an advantage.
