Forward Deployed Engineer – Palantir Foundry (Cleared)

Overview
We are supporting a major U.S. Government / Defense program seeking experienced Palantir Foundry Engineers to join a high-impact delivery team in Washington, DC.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and deploying mission-critical solutions within the Palantir ecosystem. Successful candidates will work directly with stakeholders to design, develop, and operationalize data-driven applications supporting national security objectives.
Due to the nature of the program, additional project details will be shared following an initial screening conversation and execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain applications and workflows within Palantir Foundry.
- Develop and manage Ontology objects, relationships, and operational workflows.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Foundry Pipeline Builder and related tooling.
- Develop user-facing operational applications and dashboards using Workshop.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable solutions.
- Support deployment, testing, and continuous improvement of production Foundry environments.
- Contribute to best practices, architecture decisions, and platform adoption across the program.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI also considered).
- Currently based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions within Palantir Foundry.
- Strong experience with:
- Ontology
- Pipeline Builder
- Workshop
- Experience building and deploying production-grade applications and data workflows.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Washington, DC.
- Availability to begin in July 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE).
- Prior employment with Palantir Technologies.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government, Defense, Intelligence Community, or National Security programs.
- Exposure to AIP, operational workflows, and enterprise-scale Foundry deployments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
