Are you a Class 2A Registered Building Inspector looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re working with a Local Authority in Greater Manchester that is looking to appoint two experienced Building Inspectors to support its busy Building Control team on an initial 6-month contract.
The Role
As part of the Building Control team, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload of domestic building projects.
- Carry out site inspections, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and current Building Regulations.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to applicants, contractors, developers, and members of the public.
- Maintain accurate inspection records while delivering a high standard of customer service.
About You
To be considered, you’ll have:
- Class 2A Registration under the Building Inspector Competence Framework (BICoF).
- Previous experience working within a Local Authority Building Control team.
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
