C++ Developer – Limburg (Netherlands) – Freelance 2 years+
For an aviation client located in Limburg, NL, I am looking for 3 freelance C++ Developers for a long-term position.
This role offers 50% remote working per week (2-3 days).
Role:
- Collaborating closely with operational experts to analyse requirements and design innovative software solutions that address business needs.
- Designing and implementing complex software enhancements, including prototyping, documentation, unit testing, and delivery in adherence to aerospace-grade quality and safety standards.
- Investigating and resolving technical and operational issues by analysing problem reports and applying fixes, including updates to existing source code.
- Conducting critical reviews of source code, documentation, test suite modifications, and test results produced by other developers.
- Participating in working groups and studies focused on air traffic control (ATC) automation.
Key Competencies & Skills:
- You have 3+ years experience as a C++ Developer.
- Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale software applications, with a focus on implementing complex, high-performance algorithms, ideally within a Unix environment.
- Proficient in C++, with a solid understanding of modern C++ standards and best practices.
- You are fluent in English
