We are currently working with a London Borough seeking an experienced Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team on an initial contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a fully remote role, with flexibility around working arrangements and a supportive, well-established legal team.
The Role
- Manage a caseload of Adult Social Care matters, including:
- Court of Protection applications
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
- Ordinary residence disputes
- Safeguarding and community care advice
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to social care teams and senior stakeholders
- Draft legal documents and represent the authority where required
- Support the wider legal team on complex or sensitive matters
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Lawyer
- Strong experience within Adult Social Care law, ideally within a local authority setting
- Confident managing a full caseload independently
- Ability to build effective working relationships remotely
