Transport Planning Expert – Freelance
We are looking for an Interim Logistics / Transport Planning Expert for a transport organisation active in bulk liquid distribution for industrial clients in the food and energy sectors.
The role covers daily transport planning and coordination in a logistics environment. They have contracts with global customers in Belgium and manage the transportation of their clients’ goods.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily transport operations for bulk liquid transport.
- Coordinate schedules, routing, fleet allocation, and driver planning.
- Coordinate with operations, customers, and transport partners on execution of deliveries.
- Monitor planning KPIs and resolve operational issues.
- Use the transport planning system Qargo for planning activities.
- Act as point of contact between operations and stakeholders.
Profile
- 5+ years’ experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in bulk liquid transport or regulated transport environments is appreciated.
- Experience with Qargo is appreciated
