Project Overview
We are seeking a System Engineer to support a large-scale Active Directory migration project within an industrial environment.
The main objective is to separate Operational Technology (OT) assets and services from the existing IT infrastructure and migrate approximately 50% of Active Directory objects to a new Active Directory domain.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of an Active Directory migration.
- Migrate users, groups, computers, servers, and related AD objects to a new domain.
- Identify, analyze, and carve out OT-related systems and dependencies.
- Perform Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
- Support testing, validation, and post-migration activities.
- Document migration procedures and infrastructure changes.
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, and OT teams.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Active Directory administration and migrations.
- Solid Windows Server administration experience.
- Experience with domain consolidation, separation, or carve-out projects.
- Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- Understanding of DNS, Group Policy, authentication, and identity management.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support.
- Hands-on migration project experience is essential.
- Ability to work independently and engage with both IT and OT stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.
