Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Support Engineer to join our client’s IT team in Brussels. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of end-user services, with a strong focus on Microsoft Office 365 environments.

This is a hands-on support role requiring strong technical expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work onsite with business users.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide 2nd line (and occasional 3rd line) support for end users

•  Manage, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

•  Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management via ticketing systems

•  Support user account management (Azure AD / Entra ID)

•  Troubleshoot issues related to:

  • Email and calendaring (Exchange Online)
  • Collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
  • Identity & access management

•  Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users and device setup

•  Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles

•  Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams when needed

•  Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution

 

 

Candidate Requirements:

•  Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer / Support Analyst

•  Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 (mandatory)

•  Good knowledge of:

  • Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
  • Windows 10/11 environments
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online

•  Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)

•  Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills

•  Strong communication skills in a user-facing environment

•  Ability to work independently onsite

 

 

 

Contract Details

Location: Brussels

Duration: 12 months +

Rate: Negotiable
