Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years in energy trading, portfolio management, or front-office quant roles
- Proven experience managing or optimizing dispatchable energy assets, with strong preference for candidates with hands-on BESS exposure.
- First-hand experience with energy trading platforms, including algo trading infrastructure, ETRM systems, and real-time dashboards.
- Deep understanding of short-term European power markets, especially price dynamics, exchange structures, and ancillary services.
- Risk, PnL, and Compliance: Work closely with Risk to manage exposures, PnL, and risk positions while guaranteeing adherence to market regulations and improving risk management procedures.
- Strong quantitative and analytical background, with demonstrable experience in power asset modelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with ability to manipulate large datasets and build analytics tools.
- Familiarity with optimization techniques and interpreting outputs from mathematical models
