Key Responsibilities
– Lead and coordinate the S&OP process across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement and Finance.
– Drive the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, inventory and financial objectives.
– Review and challenge demand forecasts, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities and assumptions.
– Coordinate supply planning and identify potential capacity, material, production or inventory constraints.
– Analyse forecast accuracy, inventory levels, service levels and other key supply-chain KPIs.
– Prepare and facilitate S&OP meetings with key stakeholders and senior management.
– Provide clear recommendations and scenarios to support business decision-making.
– Identify opportunities to improve the S&OP process, planning tools, data quality and ways of working.
– Bring structure and discipline to the planning process where required.
– Work closely with the existing planning team to ensure effective execution of the agreed plans.
– Coach, mentor and support team members, helping to develop their S&OP, demand planning and supply-planning capabilities.
– Act as a hands-on sparring partner for the planning team and relevant business stakeholders.
– Support knowledge transfer and ensure sustainable processes are in place before completion of the assignment.
