Solution Architect – Brussels (Belgium) – Freelance 12 months+
For a financial services client located in Brussels, I am looking for a freelance Solution Architect for a long-term position.
This is a hybrid role offering 3 days working from home per week.
Role:
- Define, review, and maintain solution architectures across projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Develop high-level technical designs and application designs primarily for .NET applications, APIs, and Angular frontends.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, translate them into solution designs, and ensure feasibility.
- Conduct architecture reviews to validate existing systems and propose upgrades or optimizations.
- Provide effort estimations and contribute to budget planning for new projects and enhancements.
Required:
- You have 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Strong background in .NET application design and architecture.
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to engage with business stakeholders and technical teams alike.
- Hands-on approach: comfortable with both designing and executing solutions.
- Fluent in English.
