Reliability & Validation Engineer – Photonics
We are looking for a hands-on Reliability & Validation Engineer to help ensure the performance and reliability of advanced Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to design and execute reliability strategies, develop automated test systems, and analyze performance data from cutting-edge photonic devices.

What You’ll Do
Develop and implement product reliability strategies aligned with industry standards (e.g., Telcordia)
Perform validation and reliability testing on photonic building blocks, PICs, and integrated circuits
Analyze test results and communicate insights through reports and review meetings
Expand and improve test capabilities and automation frameworks
Develop automated test scripts (Python / C++)
Support or lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for reliability issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
What You Bring
MSc in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in test, validation, or reliability engineering
Experience with electro-optical or laser testing and automated lab equipment
Strong understanding of qualification and reliability methodologies
Knowledge of PIC technologies and wafer foundry processes
Strong data analysis and statistical skills (Excel, JMP, Six Sigma, or similar)
Experience with Python or C++ scripting is a strong plus
A hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for working in advanced laboratory environments
