Vivid Resourcing
Site Supervisor – Welding
Location: Zabrze, Poland
Contract: Contract
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Working pattern: 6 days a week, 60 hours a week
About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with a welding background to join a series of project-based works on a 6-month contract. The role suits someone who is comfortable reading drawings, working with fittings and keeping a fast-moving programme on track, with each project running to a 3-week turnaround.
You will supervise welding and fabrication activity, making sure the work follows the drawings and meets the required standards. When you are not on site, you will work in the workshop, so the role combines hands-on supervision in both environments and calls for someone who can switch between them without losing pace.
The working pattern is demanding, at six days a week and 60 hours a week, and the contract is built around short, tight project windows. Communication matters as much as technical skill, as you will be working with teams in English and in Czech or Slovak.
Main responsibilities
- Supervise welding and fabrication work on site, making sure it follows the drawings and project requirements
- Read and work from technical drawings, and oversee the correct use of fittings
- Deliver project work to a 3-week turnaround

- Coordinate the team and keep work on programme
- Check quality and safety standards across welding and fabrication activity
- Communicate with colleagues and project teams in English and Czech or Slovak

- Welding experience
- Experience working with drawings and fittings
