About the Client:
Our client is delivering a large-scale waste water treatment plant construction project near Düsseldorf, specialising in piping works and full plant installation. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and coordinate on-site activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for on-site coordination and delivery of a waste water treatment plant construction project. The role involves managing daily site operations, overseeing piping and plant construction works, ensuring quality management standards are met, and maintaining smooth communication across all stakeholders.
Strong site coordination experience, a proactive approach, and fluency in German are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for on-site management of plant construction works
- Coordinate and oversee daily site activities and ensure efficient project execution
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers
- Ensure all piping and plant construction works are delivered to specification
- Implement and maintain strict quality management processes on site
- Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved
- Act as the main point of contact for on-site coordination
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or plant construction projects
- Strong background in:
- Piping works
- Plant construction
- Experience working on waste water treatment or similar industrial projects (preferred)
- Strong ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and site activities
- Hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills
- Fluent German speaker (essential for site coordination)
- Strong understanding of site safety, quality control, and compliance standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand construction environment
Contract Details:
- Location: Near Düsseldorf, Germany (on-site)
- Duration: 18 months
- Working Schedule: 5 days per week / approx. 50 hours per week
- Rate: Dependant on experience
