A client is looking for a freelance Senior Software/PLC Engineer to join their team, working on a variety of automation projects across different industries. This role involves developing, programming, and maintaining control systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software for PLC and HMI systems.
- Design and program software interfaces for seamless communication between external systems and equipment.
- Work on a range of projects, from short-term assignments to large-scale implementations.
- Support and troubleshoot control systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Occasionally work on-site with clients as part of a project team.
- Mentor and guide the junior engineers within the team.
Requirements:
- Affinity with control technology and automation.
- Experience with PLC systems, particularly Rockwell.
- Strong communication skills, ambition, and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Open to both experienced professionals and candidates eager to grow in control technology.
- Affinity/strong knowledge of with web development languages – HTML
