Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer

Overview

Our client is building an internal Palantir engineering team to support the rapid expansion of Foundry across the enterprise. Working alongside existing Palantir FDEs, you will help build, enhance and maintain production applications while taking increasing ownership of platform delivery.

This is a highly hands-on engineering position focused on execution rather than architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications and data products within Palantir Foundry.

• Build data pipelines, transformations and Ontology objects.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and daily engineering activities.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects and Palantir FDEs.

• Implement engineering best practices and coding standards.

• Support the transition from Palantir-led delivery to internal ownership.

• Contribute to scalable, production-ready AI and data applications.

Required Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Palantir Foundry.

• Experience building production applications in Foundry.

• Python and TypeScript preferred.

• Familiarity with Ontology, Workshop and Pipeline Builder.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience alongside Palantir FDE teams.

• Experience deploying enterprise AI use cases.

• Construction, manufacturing or Fortune 500 experience.

Location:

• Hybrid in St. Louis (preferred).

• Remote candidates may be considered if willing to travel.
