Role Overview:
For an established organisation based in Mechelen, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Salesforce Developer to join the team for an initial 6-month project.
The organisation is further developing and optimising its Salesforce landscape, with a particular focus on Salesforce Rental Cloud. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and other technical team members to develop, configure and integrate Salesforce solutions that support key business processes.
This is a hands-on development role where you will be involved in both the technical implementation and ongoing optimisation of the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, configure and maintain solutions within Salesforce, with a strong focus on Rental Cloud.
· Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
· Develop and customise Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce configuration tools.
· Work with Salesforce objects, flows, integrations, validation rules, workflows and automation.
· Analyse existing Salesforce processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Integrate Salesforce with other business applications and systems where required.
· Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Support testing, troubleshooting, deployment and documentation of Salesforce developments.
· Contribute to the optimisation of existing Salesforce architecture and development standards.
· Where applicable, work with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate, to support integrations and business process automation.
· Participate in a broader application landscape where knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central can be highly valuable.
Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer with:
- Strong professional experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Rental Cloud this is an important requirement.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce development and configuration.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL and Salesforce automation.
- Experience translating functional requirements into technical Salesforce solutions.
- Good understanding of Salesforce integrations and APIs.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
- Fluent Dutch communication skills.
- Availability to work 4 days per week on-site in Mechelen.
Bonus
The following experience would be a significant advantage:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Microsoft technologies.
- An affinity with or previous experience working alongside Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Understanding of ERP processes and the interaction between CRM and ERP platforms.
- Experience working in environments where Salesforce and Microsoft business applications coexist.
