We are currently working with a Local Authority in Greater Manchester that is looking to appoint two experienced Class 2A Registered Building Inspectors to support their busy Building Control service on an initial 6-month contract.
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards across a varied portfolio of projects. Responsibilities will include:
Managing a mixed caseload of domestic and commercial developments.
Carrying out site inspections and ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations.
Providing professional technical advice to applicants, developers, and members of the public.
Maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of customer service.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Class 2A registration under the Building Safety Regulator
Demonstrable experience working within a Local Authority Building Control environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication skills, including report writing.
The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload effectively.
