For a global customer in Brussels, I am searching for a freelance Project Manager to lead several projects focusing on process automation for energy production.
Responsibilities
- Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
Profile
- A degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the chemical industry, energy or pharma domain with a strong focus on Process Automation.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and coordination with vendors/subcontractors.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
