Contract: November 2026 – June/July 2027
Hours: 50 hours per week
Project: Data Centre – Mechanical Works
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major data centre project, overseeing the delivery of mechanical works with a focus on HVAC and piping.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the mechanical scope of works, including:
CHW pipework
Heat tracing
Plant rooms
DX pipework
Testing and commissioning
Insulation
Coordinate activities between subcontractors, contractors and equipment/material vendors.
Attend and contribute to regular quality and programme meetings with the client.
Monitor project progress and coordinate activities to ensure programme requirements are met.
Manage project costs and obtain the necessary approvals from the client.
Oversee procurement and purchasing of materials and equipment.
Coordinate material deliveries with site requirements.
Work closely with prefabrication teams to ensure materials and components are produced and delivered according to programme.
Coordinate with installation teams to ensure efficient execution of the works.
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain strong communication between the client, contractors, vendors and internal project teams.
Requirements
3–5 years’ relevant technical experience in HVAC and piping.
Previous experience working on data centre, industrial or similarly complex mechanical projects is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and piping installations.
Experience coordinating multiple contractors and vendors.
Good understanding of project programmes, procurement and cost management.
Strong technical and organisational skills.
Fluent English is essential.
German and/or Croatian language skills would be an advantage.
Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week for the duration of the contracts
