I am seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead the delivery of power supply and installation projects, including UPS systems, temporary power solutions, and critical infrastructure works.
You will be responsible for managing projects from design coordination through installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to strict safety and quality standards.
- Lead end-to-end project execution (planning → installation → commissioning)
- Coordinate engineering teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee site activities, including electrical installation and integration
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans
- Act as the main client interface on-site and in progress meetings
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and local French standards
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and system validation
- Handle documentation, reporting, and project close-out
Required Experience & Skills
- Must have a strong Electrical Design backgroundÂ
- Proven experience in energy, electrical, or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in UPS systems, generators, or power distribution
- Experience managing multi-site or fast-track deployments
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Familiarity with French regulations and site practices
- Ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent in English and French highly preferred
