Project Overview
Our client is constructing a series of small industrial/KMO units in Western Poland. The initial phase consists of 8–9 units, with the potential to expand to around 40 units. The buildings are prefabricated using steel structures, aluminium cladding/roofing sheets, and concrete floors supplied from factories.
Role
They are seeking an autonomous Project Leader to oversee the on-site execution and ensure the project is delivered according to specifications. This is site-based, supervising construction activities and ensuring quality and progress.
The successful candidate will receive technical and drawing support from a representative in Belgium and will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day site activities.
- Following and implementing the Belgian design drawings.
- Coordinating and monitoring subcontractors and construction progress.
- Taking ownership of project leadership on site.
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Tracking project finances and reporting back to the Belgian team.
- Ensuring work is completed correctly, safely, and on schedule.
Requirements
- 3–4 years’ experience as a Project Leader.
- Proven experience delivering industrial building projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive approach and strong ownership mentality.
- Comfortable being based on site for the majority of the assignment.
- Fluent English (no other language requirements).
