Freelance PHP Laravel Developer (SaaS)

Our client is a fast-growing environmental services company, developing innovative SaaS solutions used across the Benelux and Europe. The organization combines a strong local presence with international collaboration and values sustainable impact, technical quality, and teamwork.
Your Role
As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will work on the development and evolution of a SaaS platform built in Laravel, integrated within the environmental sector.
You will spend approximately:
- 80% hands-on development
- 20% mentoring and supporting junior developers
You will collaborate with:
- A local Benelux-based team
- An international French-speaking team working across Europe
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend features using PHP (Laravel)
- Contribute to the architecture and scalability of a SaaS platform
- Review code and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with functional analysts, product owners, and other developers
- Participate in technical discussions and best-practice improvements
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
Your Profile
- Strong experience as a PHP Developer, preferably with Laravel
- Background in Java development is a strong plus (transitioning to PHP welcome)
- Experience working on SaaS applications
- Comfortable mentoring junior team members
- Able to work in an international team environment
- Proactive, reliable, and technically driven
