Job Description

The Layout Engineer will be responsible for converting schematic designs into finished board designs for manufacture.

The role will be home working with daily contact engineers

Typical assignments are 12 weeks initially

Requirements
* At least 5 years’ experience with Altium Designer
* Own Altium licence
* Experience with low noise, high speed design: transmission lines for high speed LVDS, power/ground management.
* EMC-optimised design
* High density BGA routing
* Experience with design rules and layout of DDR3/4 RAM, FPGAs,
* Ability to work in small teams under pressure roles
* Floor planning, room definition
* Creation of component libraries
* AC parameters extraction
* Creation of PCB manufacturing package: Gerbers, drill files, BOM, 3D model
