For a customer in Limburg, I am searching for a freelance OT Engineer who can roll out and supervise the upgrades of OT Desktops/Servers. Specifically, you will replace the current Windows 10/11 Desktops with the upgrade of SCADA systems to a higher application version and Siemens CP cards/licenses.
Responsibilities
- Managing and create the industrial/OT network and contribute to the modernisation of associated systems
- Install and configure various SCADA systems (IFIX/WinCC) for real-time production monitoring
- Develop user interfaces with HMI for easy machine operation
- Manage PCs, servers, and desktops in a production environment, including troubleshooting and optimizing SCADA, HMI, and DCS
- Manage organizational data using industrial systems and dashboard tools
Profile
- Familiarity with OT architecture (software, server, and network setup) and industrial networks
- Experience with SCADA, HMI, DCS, and industrial data protocols such as OPC UA
- Exposure to production environments
