About the Client:
We are supporting a growing healthcare start-up in the Netherlands in their search for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on prompt engineering using the latest generation of large language models (LLMs). This is a high-impact role where you’ll contribute directly to improving clinical workflows and documentation processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize prompts for cutting-edge LLMs in Dutch-language healthcare contexts.
- Work closely with medical professionals, data analysts, and developers to ensure accurate interpretation of complex medical terminology.
- Tackle latency challenges and streamline model performance in real-time production environments.
- Focus on inference and integration, not training of models.
- Develop robust, maintainable code in Python; experience with Golang is a nice bonus.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance within a sensitive healthcare setting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) – essential due to domain-specific content.
- Strong background in prompt engineering, LLM APIs, and response optimization.
- Proficient in Python; familiarity with Go (Golang) is a nice bonus.
- Experience working with sensitive or regulated data (healthcare or similar).
