Our client is a forward-thinking technology company based in West Holland, currently engaged in the development of cutting-edge electronic hardware for Spectator Sports. The team is working on an innovative electronics board aimed at enhancing real-time engagement in live sports environments. As they move into the prototyping and testing phase, they are seeking a medior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join immediately and help drive the product to market.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer with hands-on experience in PCB design, prototyping, and testing. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a proactive mindset, who is comfortable taking designs from concept to working prototype. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and validating the core hardware for a high-impact sports technology product.

Key Responsibilities
- Design analog and digital circuits for custom electronics boards.
- Create schematics and perform PCB layout.
- Oversee the development and assembly of hardware prototypes.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation of circuit boards.
- Perform manual soldering of components during prototyping phases.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure system integration.
- Prepare documentation including BOMs, layout files, and test reports.
- Support product compliance (e.g., EMC) and assist in certification processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electronics circuit design and PCB layout.
- Hands-on experience with prototype development, including soldering and assembly.
- Proficient in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities at the component and board level.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, R&D environments.
- Excellent communication in English or Dutch.
