Job Title: Mechatronic Test Engineer
Location: Friesland
Key Responsibilities:
- Type-Approval Testing:
Conduct type-approval tests on mechatronic products, ensuring all technical and software systems meet required standards. - Test Preparation & Execution:
Prepare and execute test setups, including preliminary tasks for necessary test plans. Collaborate closely with engineers, clients, and testing facilities (Thales, TUV, Dekra). - Quality Control:
Review test reports, monitor planning, progress, and quality. Identify errors, implement improvements, and develop product documentation. - Product Calibration:
Adjust and fine-tune electronic, mechanical, and software components. Provide input on corrective and preventive measures for new products. - Collaboration with Classification Bureaus:
Regularly engage with major maritime classification bureaus (Lloyds, DNV, ABS, CCS, NNK) regarding type-approvals and changes in regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Experience in mechatronic systems testing and quality control.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, engineers, and certification bodies.
- 5+ years experience in Mechatronic testing.
