Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Engineer to support ongoing engineering projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role focuses primarily on detailed design and drawing work, supporting the development and optimization of existing engineering concepts rather than full-scale product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and updating technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Supporting engineering teams with detailed design work based on existing concepts
- Implementing design changes based on feedback from production and internal stakeholders
- Translating engineering concepts into clear and accurate technical documentation
- Collaborating closely with engineering, production, and sales teams
- Ensuring designs are aligned with manufacturing requirements and standards
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical engineering or CAD-focused role
- Experience with SolidWorks (preferred; similar CAD tools also acceptable)
- Background in the manufacturing industry (maakindustrie)
- Affinity with mechanical systems; knowledge of hydraulics is a plus
- Ability to work on detailed design and make incremental improvements
- Strong communication skills in Dutch; basic English is a plus
