Maintenance & Asset Officer

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Maintenance & Asset Officer to help deliver high-quality maintenance and asset management services. Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our homes are well maintained, energy efficient, and compliant with the Scottish Housing Quality Standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing reactive, void, planned and landscaping maintenance services.
- Undertaking stock condition surveys and preparing technical reports and specifications.
- Supporting asset investment planning and option appraisals.
- Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring high standards of quality and value for money.
- Procuring works and managing contracts in line with legislation and organisational policies.
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders to improve services and resolve issues.
- Supporting budget planning, performance reporting and risk management.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
About you
You will have experience in property maintenance, asset management or a similar technical role, along with knowledge of contract management and procurement. You’ll be organised, analytical and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential.
