Locum Family Solicitor (Private) – 3-Month Contract
Location: Somerset
Rate: £45 – £50 per hour (DOE)
Contract: 3-month initial contract (with potential extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full-time preferred (Part-time considered)
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Family Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, capable solicitor to hit the ground running and manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of private and publicly funded family law matters
Handling divorce, financial remedy, and private children law matters
Working on some Legal Aid cases including care proceedings and non-molestation orders
Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements
Providing high-quality, empathetic client care during often sensitive proceedings
