About the Role
Rackspace Technology is seeking a motivated and technically capable L1 Palantir Engineer to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise data solutions built on Palantir Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP).
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their expertise within the Palantir ecosystem while working alongside experienced Forward Deployed Engineers, Solution Architects, and Data Engineers.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day platform operations, data pipeline development, troubleshooting,and application delivery across enterprise client environments.
We are looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced, client-focused consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Palantir Foundry Development & Support
- Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of solutions within Palantir Foundry.
- Assist with building and maintaining data pipelines using Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and integration activities.
- Assist with developing and maintaining Ontology Object Types, Properties, Links, and Actions.
- Support the development and maintenance of Workshop applications and dashboards.
- Monitor platform performance, pipeline execution, and data quality.
- Platform Operations & Troubleshooting
- Provide L1 technical support for Palantir Foundry environments.
- Investigate and troubleshoot common platform issues, including pipeline failures, data discrepancies, and access-related problems.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, workflows, and system alerts.
- Escalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 engineers when required.
- Maintain technical documentation, incident records, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support platform access management, permissions, and basic governance processes.
- Palantir AIP & AI Solutions
- Assist senior engineers with the implementation and support of Palantir AIP solutions.
