Vivid Resourcing
tart date: End of October / beginning of November
About the role
Our client is looking for experienced KYC Review Analysts to strengthen its client due diligence process. This is not a first-line onboarding or file preparation role. It is a review and validation role, where you act as the second pair of eyes on KYC files that have already been prepared, checking that they are complete, accurate and ready for decision-making.
The successful candidates will review client files against internal policy and regulatory requirements. That means challenging gaps or inconsistencies, validating risk assessments and confirming that documentation and screening outcomes are properly supported. Part of the work involves preparing files and summaries for committee review, so the information presented is clear, well-founded and gives decision-makers what they need.
The role suits KYC professionals who are confident in their judgement, have a sharp eye for detail and are comfortable giving clear feedback on the work of others. The start is planned for the end of October or the beginning of November, and the process is expected to move quickly.
Main responsibilities
- Review and validate KYC files prepared by first-line analysts, acting as a four-eyes check
- Assess files for completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal policy and regulatory requirements
- Validate client risk ratings, ownership and control structures, and source of funds or wealth information where relevant
- Check that screening results, including PEP, sanctions and adverse media, have been handled and documented correctly
- Spot gaps, inconsistencies or red flags and send files back with clear, constructive feedback
- Prepare files, summaries and recommendations for committee review
- Help keep quality and consistency high across the KYC review process
- Escalate higher-risk or complex cases in line with internal procedures
Requirements
Essential
- Solid experience in KYC, CDD or EDD within a financial services or regulated environment
- Experience reviewing or quality-checking KYC files, not only preparing them
- Good understanding of AML and KYC regulations and risk-based approaches
- Confidence in assessing ownership structures, risk ratings and screening outcomes
- Strong attention to detail and sound, independent judgement
- Clear written communication, including the ability to prepare files for committee
- Available to start at the end of October or beginning of November
Desirable
- Experience preparing or presenting cases for an acceptance or risk committee
- Experience with higher-risk or complex corporate clients
- Relevant AML or compliance qualifications
The offer
- A review and validation role rather than first-line file preparation
- Involvement in committee preparation and risk-based decision-making
- Start at the end of October or beginning of November
- A quick recruitment process
- Location, contract terms and rate to be confirmed with candidates
