Service Implementation Lead | Interim | 6-Month Contract | Surrey | Hybrid
Location: Surrey, UK
Duration: 6 months
Working pattern: 2 days on site per week

Our client is looking for an experienced Service Implementation Lead to support the delivery and implementation of improvements across their housing services.
The role will focus heavily on consumer standards, service assurance and the effective implementation of service improvements, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure changes are embedded successfully.
The ideal candidate will have a background in housing and/or project management, with a strong understanding of service delivery, governance and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of service improvements across housing services.
- Support the organisation in meeting Consumer Standards and wider regulatory requirements.
- Work with teams across the organisation to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and coordinate implementation plans, ensuring key actions and milestones are delivered.
- Provide effective service assurance, monitoring progress and identifying risks or issues.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure new processes, policies and ways of working are effectively embedded.
- Monitor outcomes and gather evidence to demonstrate improvements and compliance.
- Provide clear updates and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Support the development of robust processes, controls and governance arrangements.
- Ensure changes are delivered in a way that supports a strong resident and customer experience.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a service implementation, service improvement or project delivery role.
- A background in housing, social housing or local government.
- Good knowledge of Consumer Standards, service assurance and housing regulation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across different teams.
- Experience of taking service changes from planning through to successful implementation.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- A practical, delivery-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience within a housing association, local authority or social housing environment would be highly desirable.
