3 month rolling Contract – expected 15 months
Responsibilities:
As the Interim Building Safety Manager, you will:
Develop and implement effective building safety management systems.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits in line with building and fire safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain and update building safety case reports and documentation.
Liaise with residents, contractors, and stakeholders to address safety concerns and foster a safety-first culture.
Monitor ongoing works to ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.
Provide guidance and training to relevant staff on building safety policies.
Lead investigations into safety incidents, preparing comprehensive reports and action plans.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A recognised qualification such as NEBOSH Fire Safety, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act, fire risk assessments, and property compliance.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in overseeing building safety within residential or mixed-use buildings.
Proven ability to manage contractors and project timelines effectively.
Flexibility to travel to different sites as required.
Desriable: CIOB Diploma in Building Safety Management
