HSE Manager – Willstätt, Germany

Location: Willstätt, near Offenburg, Germany

Duration: Until end of February, with potential extension
Hours: 40 hours/week, fully on-site

We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join an industrial project in Willstätt, Germany, replacing the current HSE Manager.

The project is moving from the final construction phase into cold commissioning, energisation, hot commissioning and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support to the Site Manager and ensure compliance with German/local HSE legislation.

• Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project and client HSE requirements.

• Review and approve Risk Assessments and RAMS.

• Conduct HSE inspections, audits and site walks.

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports.

• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings and inductions.

• Support client/Nidec audits and meetings.

• Manage fire safety, emergency response plans and emergency drills.

• Ensure compliance with the HSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan.

• Manage HSE documentation and reporting systems.

• Coordinate site services and provide general HSE support as required.

Requirements

• EU Passport holder or German permanent resident 
  Proven HSE experience within construction, industrial or commissioning environments.

• Fluent German and English.

• Strong knowledge of risk assessments, RAMS, audits and HSE reporting.

• Confident with computers and document/report creation.

• EuP training required to access the site once energised (online training available).

• SiGeKo training is a strong advantage.

• Available for an immediate start and comfortable working fully on-site.
