Job Title: Health & Safety Site Lead
Location: Peterborough (On-site, 5 days a week)

Contract Duration: Immediate start – until end of September 2025
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Site Lead to join our team immediately for a gas generator project based in Peterborough. This is a hands-on role working on-site 5 days per week, leading health and safety activities on a small construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary Health & Safety lead on the construction site, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
Implement and enforce site-specific Health & Safety plans and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
Ensure CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations are applied effectively on site.
Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards.
Report and investigate incidents and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and documentation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
NEBOSH qualification (NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Health & Safety lead on small construction sites.
Solid knowledge and practical application of CDM regulations.
Experience working on construction projects, preferably within industrial or gas generator environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
