Our London based Local Authority client is in need of a Housing Professional to join their Housing Options department.
Among your daily responsibilities will be interviewing and counselling homeless individuals with all available housing options.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Giving them guidance on their obligations and rights
- Refer homeless people to appropriate housing options as soon as possible
- Provide long-term solutions and maintain customer relations
- Provide appropriate assistance to such customers in accordance with the Council’s statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996 Sections 190 and 192.
Essential Skills
- Previous Housing Options Experience
- Knowledge of the Housing Act
- Customer Focused
