I’m currently working with a Local Authority in Hampshire that is looking to appoint an experienced Housing Options Officer on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team, with hybrid working (2 days per week in the office) and an immediate start available.

The successful candidate will have experience with:
- Managing a caseload of homelessness prevention and relief cases
- Carrying out statutory assessments under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
- Making legally robust Section 184 decisions
- Developing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)
- Working with applicants to prevent or relieve homelessness
- Providing advice on housing options and homelessness legislation
- Experience using the Jigsaw housing management system would be highly desirable
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage their own caseload within a fast-paced Housing Options team.
