We are currently recruiting a Hardware Engineer who will work on the design of hardware products as well as having responsibilities to implement new features and enhancements on existing commercial boards.
Â
In this role, you will play a critical part in translating product requirements into efficient, reliable digital hardware designs. You will work closely with firmware, software, and system engineers to improve existing products, optimize performance, and support new applications.
Â
This role requires someone who is comfortable working end-to-end: from coding and simulation, through lab testing and debugging, to integration into production-ready hardware.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize VHDL code to implement new features on existing FPGA-based commercial boards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software, and systems engineering) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform simulation, verification, and validation of designs using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Debug and troubleshoot FPGA designs at both lab and system levels.
- Integrate new features into production-ready boards, ensuring compatibility, performance, and reliability.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of design decisions, implementation details, and verification results.
- Stay current with FPGA technologies, development tools, and best practices to improve team capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
Â
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years in a similar position.
- Strong proficiency in VHDL development and verification.
- Experience with FPGA development boards and commercial hardware platforms.
- Familiarity with simulation and synthesis tools (e.g., ModelSim, Vivado, Quartus).
- Knowledge of testbenches, timing analysis, and design validation.
- Solid understanding of digital electronics, logic design, and embedded system interfaces.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills for technical documentation and team discussions.
- Proactive, resourceful, and results-driven mindset.
