Job Opportunity: Control Center Operator Specialist
Contract Length: 3 years + 2-year extension
Start Date: End of September
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (8 hours/day)
Location: On-site in Abha, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Makkah, Saudi Arabia
Mobilisation: Flights and visa provided
Nationality: Western candidates only (US or European passport holders)

Role Overview:
We are seeking 4 experienced Control Center Operator Specialists for a high-profile, long-term project with the Saudi National Grid, through our client DNV. Candidates will be embedded on-site and responsible for the ongoing operational support and optimisation of GE e-terra systems.
This is a strategic role that will involve real-time system monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, model validation, and collaboration with both client teams and GE platform experts.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 20 years of experience in GE TERRA / e-terra systems
Background in control center operations within the Oil & Gas or power grid sector
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Proven experience working on large-scale electrical grid systems
Familiarity with renewable integration, state estimators, and real-time system integrity
Willingness to be based full-time on-site in Saudi Arabia
Western nationality (US or EU)
Responsibilities Include:
Daily on-site system monitoring, error detection, and troubleshooting
Configuration tuning and equipment model validation
Ensuring accuracy of network models and telemetry data
Supporting operational studies and blackout/restoration scenario development
Coordinating with GE e-terra experts to resolve architectural issues
Providing training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting and mentoring the client’s local engineering and operations teams
