Overview: I am seeking a highly skilled consultant with expertise in Vue, Nuxt 3, and headless CMS to assist my client’s development team in assessing and improving their platform’s quality. This is a short-term engagement running through the end of the year as a minimum, with a focus on evaluating, optimizing, and providing feedback on the custom middleware design system, API integration, and overall platform performance. You’ll be working with an entirely remote development team, except for in-person collaboration on Mondays – more days on-site is more than welcome!
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the quality and performance of the existing platform built with Vue and Nuxt 3.
- Provide expert guidance on a custom middleware design system and API integrations.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure best practices are being followed.
- Set up, manage, and expand Storybook for UI components and design systems.
- Conduct in-depth code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and recommend optimizations.
- Act as a mentor to developers, sharing best practices in Vue, Nuxt 3, and headless CMS architecture.
- Be available for in-person collaboration on Mondays
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in Vue, Nuxt 3, and headless CMS solutions.
- Strong experience with custom middleware, design systems, and API data integration.
- Proficiency with Storybook for UI component management.
- Ability to assess code quality, performance, and provide actionable feedback.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with distributed teams.
