Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Scheduler to join a major pharmaceutical construction and manufacturing fit-out project in Munich. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on complex project schedules across construction, MEP installation, process equipment integration, commissioning, qualification, and handover phases.
This role requires a scheduler with experience on large-scale industrial projects valued in excess of €500M, ideally within highly regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals, semiconductor manufacturing, power generation, or food & beverage facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the integrated master project schedule.
- Monitor progress and performance against project milestones.
- Coordinate schedules across construction, engineering, procurement, equipment installation, commissioning, and validation teams.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support change management, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for project leadership and stakeholders.
- Interface with contractors, consultants, planners, and project controls teams.
- Ensure accurate forecasting of project completion dates and key deliverables.
- Support claims and extension of time (EOT) assessments through schedule analysis.
Requirements
 Fluent German and English (both essential)
 Experience delivering projects within one or more of the following sectors:
- Pharmaceuticals
- Power Generation / Power Plants
- Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Food & Beverage
Proven experience on projects exceeding €500M in value
