Job Title – Freelance Quality Manager
Start Date – 1st October
Location – East Flanders, Belgium (On-site, full-time initially)
Contract Type – Freelance / Interim (6 months)
We’re looking for an experienced Interim Quality Manager to join a client in the pharmaceutical sector, currently going through a period of transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 7 Quality Officers
- Take full responsibility for the Belgian Quality department
- Own negotiations and quality agreements with clients
- Manage non-conformance processes end to end
- Maintain compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and ISO 9001
- Oversee quality documentation, audits, and corrective/preventive actions
- Drive continuous improvement across quality processes
- Act as the key point of contact for quality matters within a logistics/transportation environment
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager, ideally within logistics/transportation or pharma distribution
- Strong knowledge of GDP and ISO 9001
- Experience managing non-conformances
- Team leadership experience
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
- Available for a 1st October start, full-time on-site
