We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mechatronics & Control Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, and software – and who is excited to push the boundaries of precision and performance in advanced systems.
Our team develops high-performance systems with an emphasis on high stiffness, low mass, and structural symmetry, incorporating flexure-based mechanisms and advanced servo and feedforward control strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, model, and implement flexure mechanisms with an emphasis on mechanical symmetry, low mass, and high structural stiffness
Develop and tune servo and feedforward control systems for high-precision actuation
Design and integrate custom actuators and sensors for control and feedback loops
Apply vibration control techniques to reduce system disturbances and improve performance
Use Matlab/Simulink and XPc Target (or equivalent real-time platforms) for system modeling, simulation, and real-time control implementation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems
Perform system-level testing and validation of prototypes and production units
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, particularly flexure-based systems
Experience in control system design, including servo and feedforward strategies
Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and real-time testing platforms (e.g., XPc)
Hands-on experience with actuator and sensor integration
Knowledge of vibration analysis and control techniques
